COD 4 Permanently ban(i read FAQ)

hey guys i have COD 4 with V1.6 and i can make a server and join but when i go enter a cracked server on internet i try to enter and it says "u have been Permanently ban from this server" i read the FAQ.


1º i enter game
2º put new key with key gen.
3º enter a private server
4º i go main menu (and chanced the key again as it says on FAQ)
5ºExit game
6º Enter game get error...Data will be reset some tink like that.(this is in FAQ)but why appears?
7º press Ok and try to enter a Private server and i cant.

Step 4 dosn't mean to change the key but check if the key you entered in step 2 is still shown there.
Otherwise are you sure its a GUID Ban? The newest COD4 version is 1.7 btw.

but servers are still at 1.6

i put new one serial and enter in a private server from this site list of COd 4 next i see serial and its the same but when  i enter game again it sasy data reset again...
why?
