Restaurant Empire 2 - Patch 1.01 BETA

Fixes

It fixes a compatibility issue with computers having more than 2 CPU cores, that occurs in the second campaign’s TV show match-3 mini-game.

Some 3D cards does not support the game’s shadow rendering system, causing to crashes. This patch attempts to get around the crash by automatically disabling the shadow when such incompatibility is detected, thus allowing the game to run.

Instruction for applying the patch

Unpack the patch file re2-patch-v101.rar into your Restaurant Empire 2 folder.
If you cannot unpack the patch file, you may download the RAR tool from http://www.win-rar.com

Please note that this is a Beta patch. It'd appreciated if you could post your feedback on this forum, replying to this thread, indicating if the patch has fixed the issues for you. After gathering your feedback and being clear that it works properly, we will release it as an official patch.
